Cats are probably the wildest part of our lives. Cats bring the very essence of nature into our living room. They are stealthful and artful in the same moment.

Cats are hunters and true carnivores. Knowing this helps us to understand their gestures of generosity when our feline companions bring us mice or birds. Hunting takes time to learn, so some cats are better at this task than others. Cats weaned before 16 weeks of age and sent to a new home will be mediocre hunters at best.

Cats hate change! Remember this the next time your cat inappropriately eliminates. Look at your calendar and see if anything different has happened in your cat's life that may have precipitated the naughty behavior.
